SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Centrify, the leader in securing hybrid enterprises through the power of identity services, today announced that Cyber Defense Magazine, the industry's leading electronic information security magazine and media partner of the RSA® Conference 2017, has named Centrify Identity Service the Most Innovative Identity and Access Management Solution in its 2017 InfoSec Awards.
“Cyber Defense Magazine is pleased to announce that Centrify has been selected as The Most Innovative Identity & Access Management Solution for the 2017 CDM InfoSec Awards”
“This award validates Centrify’s dedication to delivering innovative security solutions, which is critical in the new age of access,” said Bill Mann, chief product officer, Centrify. “The modern enterprise can no longer rely on traditional perimeter security. With the rapid introduction of new technologies, platforms, applications and practices, Centrify stops breaches by securing each user’s access to apps and infrastructure in today’s boundaryless hybrid enterprise.”
Centrify Identity Service secures and manages access to cloud apps, on-premises apps and mobile devices via single sign-on, user provisioning and multi-factor authentication. It combines user identity with device context to provide security that scales as needed: allowing/blocking access or challenging for multi-factor authentication based on a comprehensive and flexible set of parameters.
This week, Centrify announced the release of its new Analytics Service, which is available as an add-on to Centrify Identity Service. This new service enhances security by using machine learning to assess risk based on constantly-evolving user behavior patterns. It then assigns a risk score, and enforces an appropriate decision — determining whether the user’s access is granted, requires step-up authentication, or is blocked entirely.
“Cyber Defense Magazine is pleased to announce that Centrify has been selected as The Most Innovative Identity & Access Management Solution for the 2017 CDM InfoSec Awards,” said Pierluigi Paganini, editor in chief, Cyber Defense Magazine.
