SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--TiE Global (TiE Inc.) has selected eight US-based women entrepreneurs to travel to India to lead week-long workshops for 125 emerging women entrepreneurs. A first-of-its-kind program, the All-India Road Show on Women’s Economic Empowerment through Entrepreneurship (AIRSWEEE), seeks to educate and inspire women in small cities in India about entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding career path.

The US mentors, Ms. Seema Chaturvedi, Ms. Holly Flanagan, Ms. Komal Goyal, Ms. Trista Walker, Ms. Ann Bennett, Ms. Kanchana Raman, Ms. Kristine Quine and Ms. Gurinder Singh, bring subject-matter expertise from diverse industries and backgrounds. The mentors, from cities across the US including Santa Clara, CA, Denver, CO, Philadelphia, PA, Miami, FL, Detroit MI, and New York, NY, were selected for their proven track records in launching successful businesses and for their passion promote entrepreneurship. Each mentor contributed a unique business capability in developing program’s comprehensive curriculum. The workshop will equip aspiring women leaders with the knowledge and essential tools to unleash their ideas to create value and opportunity.
On-the-ground efforts will be supported by India-based leaders including Ms. Rita Aggarwal, Ms. Archana Surana, Ms. Zankhana Kaur, Ms. Suili Mukherjee, Ms. Hemalatha Annamalai, and Ms. Shravya Reddy.

TiE Global, with funding from the US Mission in India, US Department of State, will conduct workshops in five cities in India from February 21, 2017 to March 9, 2017. The cities include Coimbatore, Warangal, Jaipur, Nagpur and Durgapur.
