VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The LifeSciences BC’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lesley Esford, as the new Executive Director of the non-profit industry association.
Since 2006, Esford has worked as an ITA with the National Research Council - Industrial Research Assistance Program, helping over 100 entrepreneurs develop a wide array of products and services, at every stage of the innovation process, from concept to commercialization. Her career path has taken her from B.C. to Boston developing insights, observations and a broad knowledge base in human life sciences along the way. She received her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from UBC and has a M.Sc. from Brock University.
When asked about the appointment she said, “I am very proud to be a part of LifeSciences BC’s next chapter and see before us a very compelling course with some striking initiatives well underway. We are in exciting times and I look forward to joining the journey, which I hope takes us to all parts of the world.”

Dr. Esford’s appointment is effective immediately.
