GRAND HAVEN, Mich.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Biveo.com announces the beta launch of its business video production directory and guide—the first free library of tools, videos and information for small businesses that need an effective marketing video.
“Most small business marketing coaches agree that video is the most effective form of marketing when done right”
Biveo’s free, growing library includes:
• A directory of 430+ participating, US video producers for direct contact
• A 6-step production guide for businesses that will produce their own video
• A directory of about 2,000 video examples for inspiring ideas
• Script and shot recommendations for 15+ industries based on marketing research
“Most small business marketing coaches agree that video is the most effective form of marketing when done right,” said Mark Greer, cofounder and President of Biveo. “When businesses provide customers with a video overview, customers can more easily hire the business best-suited to their needs. Yet only about 15% of small businesses currently have an effective marketing video, which is about where websites were in 1998. Our primary goal is to support businesses with research-based content guidelines so that the videos that do get produced, are as substantive and useful to the customer as possible.”
Biveo’s directory categorizes video producers by 10 specialties: Small business, small business cinematic, restaurant specialist, real estate specialist, aerial/drone, editing only, video marketing services, corporate, TV commercial and animated. Video producers are also distinguished by their rates, posting a wide range of project minimums from $200 to $10,000.
Site visitors can email or call the videographers directly without interference from a middleman, ads, or other strings. Biveo earns its revenue from referral fees it receives from videographers that receive a paying client. Videographers can also opt for a flat annual rate, or a free courtesy listing. To join, videographers must have a portfolio of business videos showcasing their work.
Based in Grand Haven, MI, Biveo is privately funded by the site’s president and cofounder, Mark Greer, with $500,000 in startup capital. Greer is the founder of now-acquired BusRates.com and MoversReviewed.com.
