(“Kosmos”) (NYSE: KOS) announced today the pricing of a previously announced underwritten public offering of 30,000,000 of its common shares (the “Offering”), all of which were offered by funds affiliated with Warburg Pincus LLC and The Blackstone Group L.P., respectively (the “Selling Shareholders”). The price to the public was $6.65 per share. The Offering is expected to close on January 18, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions. Kosmos will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of the common shares. Barclays is acting as the underwriter of the Offering.
