LOS ANGELES--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Triton Digital®, a leading technology provider for the audio industry, today released its monthly Ranker for November 2016, providing insights into the month’s top streaming audio providers, as well as listening trends for the month of November.
Key findings from the November 2016 Ranker include:
- All measured clients within the Domestic U.S. reported a total of 4,828,455 Average Active Sessions (AAS) during the Monday - Friday, 6:00AM-8:00PM daypart and 4,066,434 AAS during the Monday - Sunday, 6:00AM-Midnight daypart.
- Midweek listening shows AAS peak listening occurring just before the lunch hour at 11am. On the weekend, listening remains steady between 11:00am and 1:00pm before gradually declining throughout the afternoon.
- When compared to October 2016, the Sports format showed the largest listening gains with a 10.71 percent increase in AAS during the Monday through Friday 6:00am to 8:00pm daypart, followed by Modern Adult Contemporary and Country.
- Looking at the Top 15 Markets as compared to October 2016, San Francisco showed the largest listening gain with a 12.14 percent increase in AAS during the Monday through Friday 6:00am to 8:00pm daypart.
