Brown and Tim Baran have joined the team as Chief Content Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, respectively. Both David and Tim come with deep legal industry experience and a passion for helping lawyers and legal professionals thrive.

Prior to Good2bSocial, Brown was the vice president and editor in chief at ALM Media, where he directed digital and print content. He has also served as editor in chief of The National Law Journal and editor in chief of Legal Times in Washington, D.C. He led both publications to dozens of awards for editorial excellence. Before that, he was executive editor of The American Lawyer magazine, and helped develop signature surveys and long-form content for and about the nation’s law firms.

Before that, he served for 10 years as the library director at Anderson Kill law firm before leaving to build a continuing legal education consultancy. Baran speaks nationally on technology and marketing strategies, and is active in the access to justice movement. He was named to the 2016 Fastcase 50 honoring the law’s innovators, techies, visionaries, and leaders.
