Mr. Liu most recently was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Knewton, where he drove the company’s evolution and growth from a consumer test prep startup to the global leader in adaptive learning serving many of the largest education publishers and institutions in the world. Under his leadership, Knewton developed and scaled the preeminent, data-driven adaptive learning platform used by K-20 students, instructors and education companies. Prior to Knewton, Mr. Liu was at AOL where he was Senior Vice President of Global Messaging and founded the aol.com web portal. He holds a U.S. patent for web-based content personalization.
