SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--John Carey and Houston-based intellectual property law firm Patterson & Sheridan LLP have mutually resolved a dispute wherein Mr. Carey, a former partner in the Palo Alto, California, office of the firm, had filed a lawsuit against Patterson & Sheridan, claiming disability discrimination.
During discovery, it was mutually determined that there were certain misunderstandings about the events surrounding the dispute. As a result, it was mutually decided that resolving the dispute amicably was in everyone’s best interests. The resolution reached accomplishes this outcome to the mutual satisfaction of all involved. Patterson & Sheridan and Mr. Carey wish each other continued success in their respective endeavors going forward.
Mr. Carey left Patterson & Sheridan and founded the Artegis Law Group in Sunnyvale, California in January 2015.
