SAN FRANCISCO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--KQED’s board of directors this week elected Mike Blach, president and CEO of Blach Construction, to its board, starting January 1, 2017.

Three other board nominees also were elected: Anne Avis, a former KQED board chairwoman and the current chair of the Campaign 21 cabinet; Mallun Yen, executive vice president of RPX Corporation and former vice president and general counsel of Cisco Systems; and Jaime Studley, a national policy advisor of Beyond 12 and former official in the US Department of Education and associate dean of the Yale Law School.
