BABSON PARK, Mass.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The Computer Education Management Association (CEdMA), a professional networking organization for training executives, managers, and professionals in technology companies, today announced that MuleSoft is the recipient of the 2016 Innovation Award for its “MuleSoft.U” training offering.
“MuleSoft is committed to developing curriculum and e-learning programs that meet the needs of the wide variety of customers that we serve”
The Innovation Award, presented annually, recognizes one high-tech company or individual for outstanding innovation in training business methods or practices. The MuleSoft Training & Certification team has been recognized for its creation of MuleSoft.U — a scalable, automated, free, self-study course. MuleSoft.U offers curriculum around Anypoint Platform components, which combined with the walkthrough model achieved the core design objective. The curriculum provides a similar experience to an Instructor Led Training (ILT) class and enables students to build applications using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform, while following along with an instructor’s voice.
MuleSoft.U publicly launched at MuleSoft CONNECT last spring and was well received by both developer and customer audiences. In a survey conducted after the course, customers and partners highlighted the convenience and effectiveness of the self-paced format and the high quality of the free certification course.
Through MuleSoft U, MuleSoft’s number of trained developers increased 268% year-over-year and certifications grew 191% year-over-year.
“MuleSoft is committed to developing curriculum and e-learning programs that meet the needs of the wide variety of customers that we serve,” said Frances Sink, certification and training programs lead, MuleSoft. “We understand that full day and instructor-led training classes do not always work for everyone's schedule or budget, so we created MuleSoft.U as a free, self-study option for MuleSoft customers and partners to efficiently leverage our products to achieve their goals."
Pat Durante, President of CEdMA, commented, “MuleSoft was successful in increasing the number of students trained and certified through a new Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Their team took a creative approach that has resulted in lead generation and business development in addition to customer success. On behalf of CEdMA, congratulations on receiving the 2016 Innovation Award.”
The MuleSoft Training & Certification team will showcase its innovative approach to delivering this self-study program during the annual CEdMA Spring Conference in 2017. To learn more about MuleSoft.U and start your path to becoming a MuleSoft expert, visit training.mulesoft.com.
