NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Cataract Steel Industries (CSI), a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of heat transfer equipment, is applying its decades of experience with the design and manufacturing of custom hairpin heat exchangers into a new line of pre-engineered CS Hairpin Exchangers.
“Like everything we do, these are designed to TEMA Standards where applicable and built to ASME Code. Ultimately, the objective of the CS Hairpin line is to provide our customers with lower upfront costs and reduced lead times.”
Hairpin heat exchangers are typically more thermally efficient than conventional heat exchangers, making them integral equipment in the oil and gas, power and petrochemical industries.
“Customer demand for custom hairpin exchangers prompted a look into creating this line, and we found that our design expertise had identified a series of standards that could be pre-engineered,” said CSI President Scott Costanzo. “Like everything we do, these are designed to TEMA Standards where applicable and built to ASME Code. Ultimately, the objective of the CS Hairpin line is to provide our customers with lower upfront costs and reduced lead times.
“I’m very proud of our engineering and production teams, who were able to take our knowledge of hairpin exchangers and use that provide additional solutions for our customer base. We continually hear from our customers that they need additional options in this space, and we intend to fill that void.”
