BOSTON--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--PointRight, a leading provider of predictive analytics solutions to post-acute healthcare stakeholders, today announced the appointment of a pair of key strategic leaders to the company’s executive team: Michael Laureno as Chief Financial Officer and Cesar Goulart as Chief Information Officer.
“We are thrilled to have two executives of such high caliber join our team in the important areas of financial management and technology innovation”
Laureno has extensive experience in senior management roles providing financial and strategic guidance to organizations ranging from early-stage enterprises to established corporations. He began his 20-year career in venture capital and investment banking.
Goulart has more than two decades of experience in health information technology, during which he developed and deployed integrated payer and provider IT strategies, implemented managed care applications and EMRs, and created analytics strategy combining health plan and clinical data. His background in helping lead an integrated health care system is seen as a major plus given the rise in accountable care organizations and shift to value-based care.
“We are thrilled to have two executives of such high caliber join our team in the important areas of financial management and technology innovation,” said Steven Scott, CEO of PointRight. “Michael is clearly passionate about working capital management strategies and will ensure our company remains steadily on course for continued growth, while Cesar is an exciting results-oriented leader and technology innovator with tremendous experience in advanced analytics on both the provider and payer side of the industry.”
Prior to joining PointRight, Laureno served as a strategic CFO, developing solutions to improve efficiency and profitability on a part-time or interim basis at early-stage, high-growth and mid-market companies in the United States and in Europe and Israel. He holds a master’s degree in finance from Boston College.
Goulart previously served as CIO of Presbyterian Health Plan for six years, then became Vice President of IT Strategic Planning and Development for Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a network of eight hospitals, 600 providers and a 430,000-member health plan in New Mexico. He holds a degree in computer science.
