PLANO, Texas--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--CompuCom Systems, Inc. (“CompuCom®”), a leading technology infrastructure services company, today announced that Everest Group has recognized CompuCom as a Major Contender in healthcare IT outsourcing in its report “Healthcare Provider IT Services – Service Provider Landscape with PEAK Matrix™ Assessment 2016.”
“Healthcare Provider IT Services – Service Provider Landscape with PEAK Matrix™ Assessment 2016.”
Developed by Everest Group, a global consulting and research firm, the PEAK (Performance, Experience, Ability, Knowledge) Matrix is a framework that assesses the relative market success and overall capability of service providers in various industries. This particular PEAK Matrix evaluated 22 IT service providers who are involved in delivering healthcare IT services.
“As the healthcare IT space continues to undergo massive transformation, companies that can quickly adapt and stay ahead of the curve are the ones healthcare organizations are turning to for help,” said Abhishek Singh, Practice Director of Everest Group. “CompuCom has shown itself to be an increasingly serious player in the space as it strengthens its team and its focus.”
Global spending on healthcare IT is expected to reach over $106 million in 20171. Data analytics, infrastructure, cloud, data centers and cyber security remain top tech priorities for healthcare industry CIOs. In addition, the industry is seeing investments in hardware, software, mobility and IT services to close the digitization gap that currently exists.
“Few industries present as many complex IT challenges, with such high stakes, as healthcare,” noted Claudio DiGirolamo, SVP of Healthcare Solutions at CompuCom. “We are proud of the hard work our teams are doing for our healthcare clients – enabling them to focus on improving the quality of patient care – and that the work is being recognized by Everest Group.”
CompuCom is increasing its focus on helping companies in healthcare and other markets to acquire, deploy and manage the technology and applications that its organizations require for development and service. The company is accelerating its presence in the automation space, with the recent acquisition of the IoT business of Extensys, a top provider of IoT solutions, and the integration of its core team. CompuCom also recently partnered with intelligent automation leader Arago to integrate Arago’s problem-solving artificial intelligence solution, HIRO™, into all of CompuCom’s managed services solutions for the data center – enabling incidents to be diagnosed and remediated more quickly, efficiently and with greater certainty.
The company also expanded its partnership with Intel to launch cloud-based managed services, making infrastructure management and managed security offerings affordable for organizations of any size.
