SEATTLE--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--It’s that time of year again when many families hop in their cars and take to their local streets to check out the biggest and brightest holiday displays in their neighborhoods. To help families figure out where to go, Redfin (www.redfin.com), the next-generation real estate brokerage, released a list of the top 25 cities to see holiday lights in the U.S., and the top three neighborhoods within each city. The report also names the top five neighborhoods to see holiday lights in the nation, which are:
1. Brooklyn, NY: Dyker Heights
2. Rochester, NY: Penfield
3. McAdenville, NC: "Christmas Town"
4. Dallas, TX: Deerfield
5. Cleveland, OH: Strongsville
This is the fifth year Redfin has compiled the list, and there are a few changes from last year. Penfield, which is outside of Rochester, New York, came in at #2 on the list, bumping “Christmas Town” in McAdenville, North Carolina to #3. Deerfield, which is in Dallas, Texas, made a debut on the list this year, which bumped 34th Street in Baltimore completely off the top five.
