IRVINE, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Greg Bentley, a partner with Bentley & More, LLP specializing in the representation of consumers, including catastrophic personal injury, product liability, insurance bad faith, and wrongful death matters, was just given the prestigious and highly respected “Top Gun” award of 2016.
“We’re blessed as trial lawyers to be able to take on cases that become a cause. I am humbled and I feel honored. We need to continue to fight issues that become a problem.”
Every year, the Orange Country Trial Lawyers Association carefully selects and presents this award to individuals who have demonstrated “exceptional trial skills, commitment to their clients, and dedication to the principals of legal ethics and preserving access to the civil justice system.” And as a result, these attorneys have obtained outstanding results on behalf of the clients they represented.
Bentley works closely with his clients to deeply understand their lives and needs. His career reflects a track record of winning cases across the country to protect consumers, solidifying millions of dollars for his clients. In July 2012, he secured a $31.5 million jury verdict against Caltrans and a left-turning driver on behalf of a Los Angeles County prosecutor who suffered catastrophic brain and spinal cord injuries as a result of an accident on SR 138. Attorney Gregory Bentley is at the national forefront of seeking recovery for individuals injured by defective products with unprecedented success against electronic cigarette distributors and retailers. He was recently honored for his trial verdict in the seminal case Ries v. Beh-nam Zolghadr d/b/a VapCigs, et al., involving the explosion of an e-cigarette product that caused severe burn injuries to his client. The verdict was the first of its kind against an electronic cigarette distributor/wholesaler in the United States. In other successful eCig lawsuits, Bentley represented clients violated by eCig malfunctions. One with a finger amputated from eCig malfunction, another with severe burns from an eCig blowing up in his pocket, and another with a visible whole in her cheek from the eCig explosion.
This cause has become close to his heart. He continues to develop this area of the law and has been retained in numerous cases throughout the country relating to e-cigarette product failures and explosions.
Greg remarked, “We’re blessed as trial lawyers to be able to take on cases that become a cause. I am humbled and I feel honored. We need to continue to fight issues that become a problem.”
