DENVER--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Government software and consulting-services provider Fast Enterprises, LLC (FAST) has once again been honored as a “best place to work” by online jobs and career community Glassdoor, marking the fourth consecutive year the company has received the award and the first year of recognition in the Top Large companies category.
“To be recognized by our employees as one of the top 10 best places to work is incredibly gratifying”
“To be recognized by our employees as one of the top 10 best places to work is incredibly gratifying,” said Martin Rankin, FAST’s managing partner. “Delivering exceptional software to our clients requires exceptional effort and skills from our employees who work at our client agencies’ project sites. We strive to make their work both enjoyable and satisfying.”
Glassdoor announced its top 50 U.S. ‘Best Places to Work’ list for large companies as part of its 2017 Employees’ Choice Awards. The annual awards are based on anonymous employee feedback in areas such as job satisfaction, career opportunities, pay and benefits, company culture, and more.
FAST employs around 1,100 professionals who provide software and consulting services to government agencies that administer a variety of tax and revenue, driver and professional licensing, vehicle titling and registration, and unemployment insurance programs.
Jennifer Tuvell, a FAST founding partner, said the company provides employees with a merit-based pay structure, a month-long sabbatical program for longer-term employees, an annual charitable-gift-matching program, retirement account profit sharing, unique wellness programs and events, and health, dental, and vision insurance that is paid entirely by the company.
Tuvell said that the company’s expanded software offerings, consulting services, client base, and software-implementation projects offer a fast track to professional development and leadership positions for smart and motivated employees.
“FAST is an established and respected company, but we’re still a relatively young organization that has a growing presence in government markets around the world,” she said. “This provides our employees with a number of opportunities to quickly grow with our company and to serve in leadership positions on some high impact and exciting projects around the world.”
FAST’s headquarters and software development center are located in the Denver area, but most employees work on-site with FAST’s government clients at agency offices in the United States, Canada, Asia, Oceania, Europe, and the Caribbean. These employees configure FAST’s commercial off-the-shelf software to meet the unique requirements and objectives of agencies that serve diverse stakeholders, populations, and jurisdictions through a variety of government programs.
