CENTENNIAL, Colo.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) today announced Analog Devices, Inc., a world leader in semiconductor products and solutions, as a technology partner for Arrow’s groundbreaking crowdfund-to-production collaboration with Indiegogo. “Arrow Certified” technology entrepreneurs on Indiegogo will now have access to hands-on technical and product support from Analog Devices’ experts to help accelerate their time to market.
“Analog Devices has been partnering and innovating with customers for more than 50 years to enable them to be ‘ahead of what’s possible,’”
Arrow and Indiegogo announced the Arrow-Certified program in August. Entrepreneurs can apply for Arrow certification on the Indiegogo platform. Arrow Electronics’ engineers then analyze the design and manufacturability of each application. Projects deemed ready for manufacturing are denoted with official Arrow-Certified badges on their Indiegogo campaign site to let potential backers know the project is ready for production upon reaching its funding goal.
“Analog Devices has been partnering and innovating with customers for more than 50 years to enable them to be ‘ahead of what’s possible,’” said David Krakauer, senior director of corporate marketing and customer experience, Analog Devices. “Our technology partnership with Arrow’s Indiegogo collaboration builds on this experience to create a support alliance that will connect the next generation of innovators with industry-leading signal processing products and solutions. Together, we will enable them to solve complex problems at the intersection of the physical and digital worlds so they can bring to market amazing and impactful products.”
Arrow Certified campaigns on Indiegogo lock-in up to $50,000 in benefits that help entrepreneurs succeed in prototyping and manufacturing their innovative products. In addition, a handful of campaigns that Arrow experts deem truly technologically exceptional will qualify as Arrow Innovator campaigns and receive additional support.
“This is an exciting new chapter in the longstanding collaboration between Arrow and Analog Devices,” said Matt Anderson, Arrow’s chief digital officer. “Arrow-Certified campaigns on Indiegogo will now have direct access to expertise and resources from Analog Devices, a company behind so many innovative electronic products on the market today. If you’re a maker or startup with a great idea, and you want access to production and go-to-market resources like this, check out the Arrow-Certified program on Indiegogo.”
