ST. HELENA, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The C. Mondavi & Family board of directors has appointed John Lennon interim president and CEO effective today. One of Napa’s oldest wine companies, C. Mondavi & Family is growing with successful brands C. K. Mondavi, Charles Krug, Divining Rod and Purple Heart. The company begins a five-year strategic plan in 2017 to pursue significant further growth. C. Mondavi & Family is investing in a new president and CEO to pursue its growth objective and has engaged in a national search to fill the permanent position. Pascal Levensohn, chairman of the board of directors, commented, “We appreciate departing CEO Mike Jaeger’s positive contribution to the company over the past five and one half years. The entire C. Mondavi & Family operation wishes Mike well in the future.”

Lennon has served as president, CEO, general manager and marketing vice president while working for International Beverage Holdings (INTERBEV), Pabst Brewing Company, INBEV, Pyramid Breweries and Nestle, among others. He has a background leading companies through transitions while improving financial performance. Lennon holds an MBA in marketing and finance from Syracuse University.
