BURBANK, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) Board of Directors today declared a semi-annual cash dividend of $0.78 per share, payable January 11, 2017, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 12, 2016. This dividend marks an increase from the $0.71 per share paid in July, 2016.

The Company also announced that it has scheduled its annual shareholders’ meeting for Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in Denver.
