Martins has extensive experience leading engineering teams to create and improve upon best-in-class software products. He is also deeply familiar with the unique needs of customers in the non-profit and foundation space, having spent nearly 3 years transforming the engineering team and product offerings at MicroEdge, the world’s leading grants management software company.

Martins is passionate about creating high performing teams and delivering software that exceeds client expectations. “My mission is to build the best software team in the world,” he said. “I look forward to working with our engineers and the entire Social Solutions team to continue to provide exceptional products and services for our customers.”
Martins joins the company’s leadership team at an exciting time. Kristin Nimsger, who was named Social Solutions’ CEO last month, has made clear her commitment to growth in order to positively affect even more organizations and the people they serve.

Before joining MicroEdge, Martins spent over 14 years at Symantec, one of the world’s largest software companies, where he led global teams in the development of software products for enterprise business. At Symantec, Martins was the Engineering leader for the NetBackup 7.5 release, the largest product launch in Symantec history at the time.
