BOSTON--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Hexadite, provider of the first agentless intelligent security automation and orchestration platform, today announced that Glenn Chisholm, Chief Technology Officer at Cylance, is joining its Board of Directors. With decades of cybersecurity leadership positions, Chisholm will assist in further establishing Hexadite as a leading security solution for Global 2000 companies, and the only one that provides a fully-automated incident response solution.
“The traditional, manual approach to incident response is becoming obsolete. Organizations can no longer afford to simply hire more people to investigate and remediate cyber-attacks, and innovative companies like Hexadite are changing the way”
Hexadite Automated Incident Response Solution (AIRS™) harnesses the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to dramatically reduce the time it takes enterprises to investigate and remediate cybersecurity alerts. It empowers security teams to examine every single alert issued by their existing security tools, regardless of an alert’s priority score or the availability of human analyst to perform manual investigations. When Hexadite AIRS determines that an alert is indeed a threat, it can automatically and immediately perform targeted remediation actions.
“What we’re dealing with today is a cybersecurity capacity problem. It’s become very apparent that there’s no way for security teams to manually investigate every security alert. When you look at how the volume of alerts continues to increase and the time it takes to manually investigate each one, it’s simple math,” said Eran Barak, CEO and co-founder of Hexadite. “Security Automation and Orchestration to automate incident response is the only way to solve this problem, and our solution has been proven at leading organizations around the world. With Glenn’s guidance, we’ll be able to fine-tune our offering even more, presenting the most compelling solution to both channel partners and end customers. His fingerprints are on some of the most significant security technologies and companies in the market today, and his insight will be invaluable to Hexadite’s future growth and success.”
Glenn Chisholm brings decades of technical product management experience to Hexadite’s Board of Directors. As Chief Technology Officer at Cylance, he directs the strategic product and mathematical direction of the company while leading its research and development teams, engaging with world-class customers to develop end-to-end solutions. Previously, Chisholm held security and engineering roles at Cisco and Telstra. Chisholm will provide strategic guidance for Hexadite’s product teams as product demand continues to grow globally.
“The traditional, manual approach to incident response is becoming obsolete. Organizations can no longer afford to simply hire more people to investigate and remediate cyber-attacks, and innovative companies like Hexadite are changing the way,” said Chisholm. “By integrating with customers’ existing security tools and applying artificial intelligence and automation, Hexadite’s solution dramatically reduces the time to evaluate and remediate threats to let security staff focus on more strategic work.”
Hexadite was founded in 2014 by Eran Barak (chief executive officer), Barak Klinghofer (chief product officer) and Idan Levin (chief technology officer), all veterans of an elite intelligence unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The company operates out of its headquarters in Boston’s Financial District and maintains a research and development center in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Hexadite AIRS is the first agentless intelligent security automation and orchestration platform for Global 2000 companies. By easily integrating with customers’ existing security technologies and harnessing artificial intelligence that automatically investigates every cyber alert and drives remediation actions, Hexadite AIRS enables security teams to amplify their ability to mitigate cyber threats in real-time.
