Corbis Announces Jennifer Collins Vice President, Breaking News & Entertainment

Tribune Publishing Executive with Extensive Digital Experience to Drive Corbis Entertainment’s Continued Growth

LOS ANGELES--()--Corbis, a Bill Gates company, today announced that it has named Jennifer Collins as Vice President, Breaking News & Entertainment. Ms. Collins had joined the company in December 2015 and reports directly to Greg Isaacs, Senior Vice President of Native and Entertainment.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, Ms. Collins is responsible for leading the day to day business operations and strategies with a primary focus on further developing Corbis Entertainment’s rapidly growing celebrity content business. Corbis Entertainment operates Splash, the leader in celebrity images, and a rapidly growing AdTech business.

Ms. Collins joins Corbis with more than 20 years of experience in business development and product. She most recently was the Vice President of Business Development for Tribune Publishing Interactive, overseeing business development, ecommerce, native content and video across Tribune’s multiple brands. Before Tribune, she was the Online General Manager at Variety and the Managing Director, Digital at ALM Media. In addition, Ms. Collins has held senior roles in ecommerce at Safeway.com, in product management and business development at CNET, and led Disney’s GO News. She had started out her career in media as a newspaper and digital reporter and as a local TV news producer.

Ms. Collins holds a M.S. degree from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from Hampshire College.
