BURLINGTON, Mass.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Coravin Inc., maker of Coravin™ Wine Systems, today announced it has named Peggy Ang as Vice President of Marketing, to guide the development and execution of Coravin’s strategic brand and consumer marketing initiatives in the US and across key international markets.
“Her passion for uncovering brand stories and reaching consumers in meaningful ways are critical additions to our brand strategy and we are excited to have her on board to help guide the company as we continue to move forward.”
Ang joins Coravin with more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications for global brands including Sony Electronics, Animal Planet and, most recently, Samsung Electronics America, where she served as Vice President of Marketing Communications. In her role at Samsung, Peggy was instrumental in managing the brand’s strategy, multimedia campaigns and programs as well as partnerships to bring Samsung products to market across various categories such as TVs, home audio video products, laptops, home appliances and tablets. Most notably, Ang oversaw the successful launch of Samsung’s premium line of LED/Smart/3D/Curved and Ultra High Definition TVs among others, as well as spearheaded the company’s digital and social media initiatives.
“Peggy is widely recognized as a change leader and an expert in consumer marketing – the combination we were looking for to drive Coravin’s continued growth and expansion in the US and abroad,” said Frederic Levy, CEO of Coravin. “Her passion for uncovering brand stories and reaching consumers in meaningful ways are critical additions to our brand strategy and we are excited to have her on board to help guide the company as we continue to move forward.”
Peggy joins Coravin at a time when the company is primed for continued growth, with recent significant milestones including expanded retail distribution in leading luxury retailers Neiman Marcus and Sur La Table and the launch of the new Coravin Model Two. The company also secured a presence in Asia with the opening of the inaugural Coravin Hong Kong office earlier this month.
“The wine industry has seen little in the way of innovation and disruption until Coravin launched in 2013 and forever transformed the way we consume, serve and enjoy wine,” said Ang. “Coravin has truly pioneered a new technology and I have no doubt that an increased focus on consumer marketing will result in Coravin becoming a tableside and household name.”

Coravin, Inc. is a privately held company located in Burlington, Massachusetts focused on transforming the way wine is served, sold and enjoyed. Coravin designs and markets the Model Two and Model Eight Wine Systems for wine enthusiasts, restaurants, wine stores and wineries. Unparalleled in craftsmanship and design, Coravin uses proprietary patented technology to access and pour wine from a bottle without pulling the cork. Wine enthusiasts can now enjoy wine sealed with corks without feeling the need to commit to the whole bottle, allowing them to explore wines of any vintage, varietal or region, one taste at a time. With Coravin, wine, after being accessed, remains in the bottle, continuing to evolve naturally. It can then be enjoyed later since it was never exposed to oxygen.
