Commonwealth Financial Network®’s Custom CRM System Launches

With all affiliated advisors fully migrated, upgrades and enhancements

highlighted at National Conference

WALTHAM, Mass.--()--Commonwealth Financial Network®, the nation’s largest privately held independent broker/dealer–RIA, today announced advisor migration to its new CRM system is complete. The new CRM system offers a faster, more intuitive, more streamlined system designed and built from the ground up and in conjunction with advisor input received at every stage of development.

Now, Commonwealth CRM looks and feels like the rest of the tools Commonwealth offers—and it’s as easy to use. It also provides a consistent user experience across all browsers and devices.

“We opted to build our own CRM system so that it could tightly integrate with our suite of proprietary tools—Client360º®, Practice360º®, and Investor360°®,” said Darren Tedesco, managing principal of innovation and strategy. “This was a massive initiative our team undertook. Our end result is a product that we are proud to offer to our advisors, and we are confident it will enable them to effectively and efficiently run their practices.” Tedesco added, “Advisors often feel systems either are too simplistic and do not offer enough functionality or are overly complicated and too difficult to use. We feel this system solves for both, offering an intuitive user experience that meets the needs of our busy advisors.”

Commonwealth converted its 3,000 users from the Microsoft Dynamic CRM platform over the course of two weekends. In addition, the synchronization engine was rebuilt, allowing Client360°, Outlook, and any native mobile devices to be synchronized in real time without plug-ins or mobile apps needed.

A number of informational sessions and panel discussions offered throughout Commonwealth’s National Conference, November 12–15, 2015, in Washington, DC, are dedicated to CRM. Sessions explore the many features and benefits of the new CRM and are designed to increase familiarity and ease of use for advisors and support staff.
