NEW BRIGHTON, Minn.--()--Cellectis plant sciences, Inc., a Minnesota-based Company focusing on developing healthier food products, announced today that it has changed its corporate name to Calyxt, Inc. The company will use this new name as of today.

“Calyxt was elected to assert our own identity and to reflect our expertise in driving innovations for the food and agriculture industries. The colors were chosen to reflect our focus on bringing healthier characteristics to plants.”

The new name reflects the Company’s exclusive focus and expertise in developing improved agricultural products using advanced gene editing technologies.
