Junior Achievement of Delaware Valley (JADV) Proudly Announces the Formation of Its Young Professionals Board

WAYNE, Pa.--()--Junior Achievement of Delaware Valley www.japhiladelphia.org part of the world’s largest and fastest-growing volunteer-driven, nonprofit economic education organization, is dedicated to empowering young people to connect what they learn with the real world through volunteer-led experiential learning. More than 20,000 students in the greater Philadelphia region alone improve their economic understanding and life skills through JA Programs each year. Its JA Company Program, an entrepreneurship program for high school students, is recognized as one of the most effective in the country.

JADV will rely on the vision, energetic implementation and networking skills of its new Young Professionals Board (YPB) to inspire young people to own their economic success through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness programs. The Board will be comprised of some of the region’s best young professionals, business developers and entrepreneurs aged 25-40. Young Professionals Board members will collaborate and leverage their professional networks to promote the JA mission and events, thus building JA’s capacity to serve youth and expand partnerships. As an important benefit for its members, the Young Professionals Board will also provide hands-on training for best practices in Nonprofit Board strategic leadership and protocols.
