Original Bike Spirits® to Raise Awareness for Retrieving Freedom with Cross Country Delivery Tour Beginning in Marietta, GA on October 4th and Ending in Waterloo, IA on October 7th

ATLANTA--()--Zep Inc. (NYSE: ZEP), Original Bike Spirits® by Zep Inc., one of the leading providers of motorcycle cleaning and performance products, has announced that Calvin Corson’s photo titled “Rocky Mountain Way” is the grand prize winner of a 2014 Harley-Davidson® Heritage Softail® Classic motorcycle in its Let Freedom Ride Photo Contest.

“Our team thoroughly enjoyed seeing the various interpretations of freedom that entrants submitted during the Let Freedom Ride Photo Contest”

Mr. Corson’s photo received nearly 3,000 votes and was the most popular photo out of more than 3,000 entries and nearly 42,000 votes in the five-week Facebook® promotion, held in partnership with Marietta, Georgia-based Hellbender Harley-Davidson®, which asked entrants to submit an original photograph capturing the free spirit of the American road.

“Corson’s ‘Rocky Mountain Way’ was a clear fan favorite and communicated the patriotic spirit possessed by motorcycle enthusiasts across the country,” said Original Bike Spirits Marketing Manager Eric Bishop. “Subsequent to naming Corson the grand-prize winner, we learned that he is planning to donate the motorcycle to Retrieving Freedom, Inc., a nonprofit organization that trains service dogs for U.S. veterans, children with autism and people suffering from diabetes,” Bishop continued.

Corson stated that he hopes that the bike can help Retrieving Freedom Inc. raise money to offset the costs associated with training these service dogs, which can run up to $25,000 per dog over two years.

“Our team thoroughly enjoyed seeing the various interpretations of freedom that entrants submitted during the Let Freedom Ride Photo Contest,” said Hellbender Harley-Davidson Marketing & Events Manager Brad Bosworth. “When we agreed to provide the 2014 Harley-Davidson® Heritage Softail® Classic as the contest prize, we had no idea the winner would be donating the motorcycle to charity; however, it is rewarding to know that motorcycle will be helping to support such a worthwhile organization as Retrieving Freedom.”

In support of Mr. Corson’s generosity, Original Bike Spirits will launch a multi-stop delivery tour to help raise awareness for Retrieving Freedom beginning at Hellbender Harley-Davidson in Marietta, Georgia and concluding with a celebration at Silver Eagle Harley-Davidson in Waterloo, Iowa. The 2014 Harley-Davidson® Heritage Softail® Classic motorcycle will make stops in the following cities: Cartersville, Georgia; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Franklin, Tennessee; Paducah, Kentucky; Scott City, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; Quincy, Illinois; Coralville, Iowa and finally Waterloo, Iowa. At each location, the OBS team will engage in “Random Acts of Badness” by providing free samples of OBS products and distributing information on Retrieving Freedom, Inc.
